Junior Web Designer (Contract Basis)
The Junior Web Designer will be working closely with our Senior Designer, designing and developing websites, banners and newsletters. You will put your creative skills to the test as you tackle multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent design skills and a natural aptitude for multi-tasking. You should be passionate about web design, HTML/CSS coding and have hands-on experience in designing websites. Preferably you should have an online portfolio demonstrating the above skills.
Primary Skills:
- Hand code XHTML/CSS2 (including thorough knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues)
- Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash (including thorough knowledge of image optimisation)
- Dreamweaver (experience working with templates)
- Understanding of web usability, customer journey and optimising conversions
- Keen eye for detail
- Able to work with templates (implementation from design to development)
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with PHP environment
- JavaScript, XML, AJAX, jQuery and other web 2.0 client-side technologies
- Dreamweaver (experience working with templates)
