Last Wednesday night a fire broke out on Goldsmith Street about 2am. I live opposite where the fire started, and being on the 6th floor with probably the best view of the fire, I decided to film some of it as it developed. The next morning I wanted to see if I could get my video on the news. I contact Sky News, BBC and ITV through various upload methods, email and Twitter and within 6 minutes of me sending my tweet to @ITVCentral I had a reply! I then emailed them my video and had a reply saying it might be on the 1.55pm lunchtime News. They weren't lying, so here it is. My 5 seconds of fame!
